What is YOUR Y?
The most important piece in the business puzzle in my opinion is your WHY?
"Why" is the question that really exposes purpose (the reason why something exists or is done). How many times do you set off to do something, and if you aren't stopped and asked, "Why are you doing this?" you don't really know the answer.
Simon Sinek’s quote “People don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it” and should play an important part in telling your unique story!
That is why you need to be 100% clear on WHY you do what you do.
Is it because you want to be your own boss?
Is it because you have something special to share with the world?
Is it because you solve a specific problem?
Is it because you have this amazing product that we simply can't do without?
Furthermore, there are many other WHY questions that need to be asked if you are considering starting your own business.
Why start a business?
Why a full-time business?
Why not a side business?
One of my biggest frustrations with existing business owners is the WHY question.
Why do I need to change?
Why do I need to review my processes and systems?
Why do I need an accounting system?
Why do I need a budget?
Why do I need that app?
Why do I need automation?
I am often asked why they need to change anything at all, they have been doing things the same way for x amount of years.
Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.

Like any living organism, an organization pulses with life and wants to flourish. In business, competition can drive it to extinction, or can be the catalyst for innovation.
That is Why you should always be asking the question:
